About TRACES
Call 1800 103 0344, toll-free, or 0120 481 4600 for help with TRACES, the TDS Reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling System of the Income Tax Department. Both lines are answered from 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Lost the mobile or email on your account? Email the change request to [email protected] from the new email id. The SOP under Instructions on the TRACES site lists the steps.
Use Raise and Track Grievance on the TRACES homepage. You can track the complaint there later. For a short website issue, you can also call 1800 103 0344.
Check the sender. Official CPC (TDS) emails come only from the @tdscpc.gov.in domain. Do not share a password or OTP with anyone who calls, and do not click links in an unexpected SMS.
Not TRACES. For ITR filing and the e-Filing login, call the e-Filing helpdesk on 1800 103 0025. For the Annual Information Statement, the AIS helpdesk is 1800 103 4215.
