CDSL's toll-free number is 1800-21-09911. It takes complaints and grievances from demat account holders about depository or DP services, Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6.15 PM. CDSL's home page also lists 1800-22-5533 for demat account queries. Keep your BO ID and your DP's name ready before you call.

Your broker first. As your depository participant, it handles account changes, TPIN issues on its app and failed sales, and it can see the transaction from its side. Call CDSL on 080-69144800 when the broker cannot fix a depository-side problem, and use 1800-21-09911 if you want to lodge a complaint about the DP itself.
